President, Business Ventures
Joseph Bradley is President of Business Ventures at Uptake, a predictive analytics platform provider that transforms data into measurable gains in productivity, cost savings and operational safety for the industrial sector. Bradley oversees Uptake’s global sales, marketing and strategy functions, including revenue generation, client engagement, business vertical creation, messaging, thought leadership and overall customer success.
Previously, Bradley was vice president of Cisco’s Internet of Everything (IoE) Practice, where he led a team of technology and business consultants counseling CXOs and government leaders on realizing IoE value and digital business transformation. Bradley built the foundation for the IoE Practice by directing the groundbreaking research and production of Cisco’s influential thought leadership, “Embracing the Internet of Everything To Capture Your Share of $14.4 Trillion” and “Internet of Everything Value Index: How Much Value Are Private-Sector Firms Capturing from IoE in 2013?” This project was followed by a groundbreaking report that showed the total IoE value for enterprises and public sector organizations to be $19 trillion.
Bradley was instrumental in developing the next-generation consulting model at Cisco. The methodology provides a data-driven path outlining how customers can capture IoE value. The model leverages the IoE Practice’s proprietary customer research and network analytics to identify hidden value that can be realized by lighting up “dark assets.”
Bradley’s dynamic, engaging style, and his passion for disruptive technologies, inclusion and diversity, and the role people play in driving innovation to create a better world, have made him a popular speaker and thought leader. His work has appeared in global publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Forbes, The Street and The Financial Times.
